The Department of Higher Education, Odisha, has issued an office order mandating the transfer and promotion of Readers from Non-Government Aided Colleges to Principal positions in various institutions across the state.

This move is aimed at streamlining the academic administration and ensuring effective leadership in educational institutions.

The order specifies that the Readers are required to join their new postings as Principals-in-Charge by March 26, 2025. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action. Salary disbursement at their current stations will cease after March 25, 2025. Outgoing Principals are instructed to hand over their charge promptly to facilitate the transition.

Key details such as the names of Readers, their subjects, and the institutions involved have been outlined in the government notification. The directive also highlights that the necessary service records, including Service Books and Joining Reports, must be transferred to the new institutions without delay.

The Higher Education Department has urged all concerned authorities to ensure compliance with the orders to avoid disruptions. The transition aims to foster improved governance and accountability within the state’s higher education framework.

The following Readers of Non-Government Aided Colleges are hereby transferred and posted in the colleges mentioned against their names:
