Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, along with badminton star Padma Bhushan Saina Nehwal, flagged off the Bhubaneswar Half-Marathon on Sunday.
In a spirited celebration of Coal India’s 50th anniversary, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) Coal India organized the Bhubaneswar Half-Marathon. The event, held to promote fitness and sports culture, saw an enthusiastic turnout from participants across the region.
“Today, I inaugurated the Bhubaneswar Half-Marathon, organised by Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) to promote fitness and sports culture on the occasion of Coal India’s 50th anniversary. I flagged off the marathon with badminton star Padma Bhushan Saina Nehwal. This half marathon will be a milestone in promoting long-distance running and healthy living in Odisha”, Smt Parida posted in her X.
