Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will distribute appointment letters to 826 Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) on June 6.
The move is aimed at addressing the shortage of teachers and enhancing the quality of education across the state.
The recruitment drive, overseen by the Minister of School and Mass Education, Nityananda Gond, signifies the government’s commitment to improving education standards. The event, known as the Nijukti Mela, will provide new educators with formal employment opportunities.
Officials have emphasised that this step will contribute significantly to improving teacher availability and ensuring better academic outcomes for students. The Odisha government has prioritised filling vacancies and boosting educational resources to strengthen the learning experience for students.
The newly appointed teachers are expected to play a crucial role in shaping young minds and contributing to the state’s academic excellence.
