Puri: Chief Minister Sri Mohan Charan Majhi visited Suando village in Puri district after offering prayer at Srimandir on Thursday.
After the opening of the four gates of Srimandir for devotees, Majhi came to Suando, the birthplace of Utkalmani Pandit Gopabandhu Das. Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Smt Pravati Parida, with other MPs and MLAs were also present during this visit.
Sri Majhi paid homage to Pandit Gopabandhu Das. Members of the Council of Ministers and MPs also paid tributes to Utkalmani.
The Chief Minister met with the people of Suando village. While talking to the villagers, he said that the promises made in our resolution are the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All this will soon be fulfilled. He further said that the state government is bringing ‘Samruddha Krushak Niti Yojna’ within 100 days. If this policy comes, many problems of farmers can be solved.
