Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will embark on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh starting Sunday (Feb 23). During his visit, he will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj and visit Ram Lalla Temple in Ayodhya.
The world-famous Mahakumbh-2025, held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has reached its final stage. Since its commencement on January 13th, more than 55 crore devotees have taken a dip in this religious fair at the Triveni Sangam.
The divine and magnificent fair, which will continue until February 26th, has seen participation from President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers of various states. Foreign devotees are also taking part in the Kumbh Mela, earning merit through their participation.
The Chief Minister will depart from Bhubaneswar International Airport for Uttar Pradesh at 9 AM on Sunday. On February 24th, he will take the holy dip in the Mahakumbh and visit the Ram Mandir on the same day. He is expected to return to Delhi on the evening of Feb 24 and will meet with some Union ministers on Feb 25. Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo will accompany the Chief Minister during this trip to Uttar Pradesh.
Last month, on January 14th, Chief Minister Majhi took a holy dip in the Baitarani River at the Ansuya Tirtha Ghat in Patna, Keonjhar district. He offered prayers at the Deva Temple and the Anandeshwar Temple after the dip.
The Mahakumbh-2025 is a significant religious event, drawing millions of devotees from around the world. It symbolizes religious progress and liberation from sins, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many.
