Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with his family members, performed a sacred ritual by taking a dip in the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj on Sunday.
The Chief Minister departed from Bhubaneswar Airport at 7:50 am and arrived at Prayagraj Airport at 9:40 am. Following his arrival, he took the holy dip at 12:25 pm.
As part of his three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Majhi is scheduled to visit Ayodhya and Ramallah on Monday. He will return to Delhi on the evening of the 24th and engage in meetings with Union ministers on the 25th before heading back to Bhubaneswar at 1:40 pm on the same day.
Earlier, on the 14th of the previous month, Chief Minister Majhi also took a dip in the holy Baitarani River at the Ansuya Tirtha Ghat in Patna, Keonjhar district. Accompanied by two friends, he offered prayers at the Parameshwar Temple and Anandeshwar Temple after the dip.
