Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is set to jet off to Bihar today for a packed day of election campaigning in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates.

The visit underscores the growing alliance between the two states’ ruling dispensations as Bihar gears up for its assembly polls and Odisha for the Nuapada bypoll.

According to sources close to the Chief Minister’s Office, Majhi will depart from Nuapada by flight early Friday morning, landing in Patna, Bihar. From there, he will proceed by road to Banka district, where he is scheduled to address a large public rally in favour of the BJP’s local candidates.

Following the Banka rally, the Chief Minister’s itinerary includes a swift dash to neighbouring Khagaria district. There, he will rally support for NDA nominees, emphasising shared developmental visions and the NDA’s governance model.
