Bhubaneswar: On World Day Against Child Labour, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik committed to uproot the inhuman practice child labour.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “Future of the nation relies upon the opportunities we provide to our children. On #WorldDayAgainstChildLabour, let’s commit ourselves to uproot the inhuman practice of Child Labour and create a conducive climate for them to shine and prosper.”

Each year, on 12 June, World Day Against Child Labour brings together governments, employers and workers organizations, civil society, as well as millions of people from around the world to highlight the plight of child labourers and what can be done to help them.
The theme of this year’s World Day Against Child Labour is “Act now: End child labour!”
