Odisha CM Announces Ex Gratia for Three Killed in Separate Mishaps

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the tragic deaths of several individuals in separate accidents across the state.


  • In Ganjam district’s Digapahandi tehsil, Rahul Nayak (son of Panch Nayak) lost his life in a mishap.
  • In Ganjam’s Patrapur tehsil, Kedar Nayak (son of Kalu Nayak) died in another accident.
  • In Sambalpur Sadar tehsil, two victims — Mukesh Bag (son of Rajani Bag) and Bidharth Sahu (son of Madan Sahu) — also succumbed to fatal accidents.

The Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and assured support during this difficult time. He announced Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the next of kin of each victim.
