Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the tragic deaths of several individuals in separate accidents across the state.
- In Ganjam district’s Digapahandi tehsil, Rahul Nayak (son of Panch Nayak) lost his life in a mishap.
- In Ganjam’s Patrapur tehsil, Kedar Nayak (son of Kalu Nayak) died in another accident.
- In Sambalpur Sadar tehsil, two victims — Mukesh Bag (son of Rajani Bag) and Bidharth Sahu (son of Madan Sahu) — also succumbed to fatal accidents.
The Chief Minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and assured support during this difficult time. He announced Rs 4 lakh ex-gratia assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the next of kin of each victim.
