Bhubaneswar: The Summative Assessment-I of Class 10 students will begin in the state from tomorrow.
A total of 5.76 lakh students will appear for the exam at 3,093 centres.
Exams will be held in two sittings for 4 days starting tomorrow, informed Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha President Ramashis Hazra.
While mobile phones will not be allowed inside exam centres, only Centre Superintendents will be allowed to keep mobile phone on certain conditions, the official added.
Earlier, the exam was scheduled to be conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) from December 27, 2021. However, it was postponed as the examination dates were coinciding with Christmas holidays. The assessment was later rescheduled from January 5, 2022 to January 8, 2022.
