The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha announced the schedule for the annual +2 examinations, beginning on February 18 and continuing until March 21.
The council confirmed that practical examinations will take place between January 2 and January 15, while students will receive their admit cards starting December 15.
The announcement provides clarity for thousands of students preparing for the +2 examinations across the state. The exams will cover all streams, including Arts, Science, and Commerce. Officials said the schedule allows adequate preparation time for both theory and practical assessments.
CHSE emphasised that practical examinations remain an important component of the evaluation process. Schools must complete all practical sessions within the designated period, and institutions have been directed to ensure proper arrangements for smooth conduct.
This year, 4,07,037 students will appear for the exams across 1,350 centres. The council also announced that 210 hubs will remain under AI camera surveillance to monitor activities and maintain transparency. Officials said the use of technology will strengthen security and prevent malpractice.
