Bhubaneswar: The Odisha state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, is set to convene this afternoon at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar. Several important proposals are expected to be discussed and approved during the meeting, though details about specific agenda items remain undisclosed.
In the last cabinet meeting held on January 22, the government approved 10 key proposals from various departments, including School and Mass Education, Law, Power, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water, Finance, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, Health, and Information Technology.
With the Odisha budget session scheduled to begin on February 13, the cabinet is likely to discuss and finalize bills for presentation in the Assembly, including the state budget for the 2025-26 financial year.
Following the cabinet meeting, a session of the Council of Ministers may also take place to deliberate on further governance matters.
