Boudh/Subarnapur: At least 18 persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in Odisha.
In one accident that occurred in Boudh district last night around 10 passengers were injured when the private Bus–Tirupati was on its way from Bhubaneswar to Bhawanipatna in which they were travelling collided head on with a truck on National Highway No.57 near Khajuripada. All of them have been admitted into the Boudh District Headquarters Hospital.
In another separate accident, as many as eight passengers suffered serious injuries while a marriage party from Harinapali village was returning from Patnagarh when a paddy-laden truck collided with it at Badajhinki along the Bolangir-Sonepur Road.
All the injured have been admitted to Sonepur medical. Later two of them were shifted to Burla as their conditions deteriorated.
