The Indian Senior Women Volleyball Team enter Semifinal after beating host Nepal by 3-1 sets (25-12, 26-24, 21-25 & 25-21) in their 3rd and last preliminary league match today and top the Pool-A of the “CAVA Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup 2023” held at Kathmandu, Nepal from 22nd May – 28th May 2023.
From the Indian side Blocker-Aswini & Soorya, Attacker- Anushree, Allrounder- Jincy took the vital role for Indian team win against Nepal. In the 1st Semifinal match India will face Uzbekistan and host Nepal will face Kazakhstan in the 2nd Semifinal Match on 26th May.
Indian Team Head Coach Pritam Singh Chauhan & all the players’ thanks to Prof. Achyuta Samanta, President Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), Board of Administrative Member (CAVA), Hon’ble MP Kandhamal & Founder KIIT & KISS for provided all facilities for preparation of Indian Team at KIIT University Campus.
