Novak Djokovic has officially pulled out of the upcoming Paris Masters, citing a leg injury sustained during the Six Kings Slam exhibition event in Saudi Arabia.
The 38-year-old tennis legend announced his withdrawal on social media, just days after he exited the exhibition match against Taylor Fritz midway through the first set. Djokovic had earlier lost to Jannik Sinner in the same event.
This season, Djokovic has competed sparingly, appearing in only eight ATP Tour events outside of the four Grand Slams. Despite limited participation, he reached the semifinals at the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open.
His most recent ATP appearance was at the Shanghai Masters, where he struggled with a sore hip and exited in the semifinals. The injury now threatens his participation in the ATP Finals, scheduled for November 9–16 in Turin, Italy—a tournament he qualified for but skipped in 2024.
Djokovic’s reduced schedule and recurring injuries have raised questions about his future on the tour. With the Paris Masters off the table and the ATP Finals looming, fans and analysts await updates on his recovery and plans for the remainder of the season.
