Saraswati Shishu Vidyamandir, Unit-3, Bhubaneswar, witnessed an inspiring celebration of the Vidyarambha Ceremony and Utkal Dibasa.
Students, parents, and teachers gathered with enthusiasm to honor the sacred occasion and Odisha’s glorious heritage.
The event began with sacred water and consecrated garlands from Ma Bhubaneswari, Ma Mangala, Lord Sri Nilakantheswar, and Sri Hanuman Temple, carried in a Grand Procession with bells, conches, Sankirtan, and a captivating Kalash Yatra. Newly enrolled students were warmly welcomed through a ceremonial foot-washing ritual, symbolizing respect and new beginnings.
Special ceremonies like the Gayatri Maha Yajna and Vidyarambha Yajna marked the occasion, infusing spiritual energy into the gathering. As part of Utkal Dibasa celebrations, chief guest Sri Bipin Chandra Nayak highlighted the historical significance of Odisha and the contributions of Madhusudan Das.
To encourage and recognize young talents, 84 meritorious students excelling in annual competitions were awarded by the chief guest. Principal Sri Niranjan Taras expressed his pride in nurturing students with education and values, emphasizing the holistic mission of the school.
The event concluded successfully, thanks to the tireless dedication of the teachers and the active participation of parents and students.
