The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 is being conducted across India, with over 23 lakh aspirants appearing for the highly competitive medical entrance exam.
The test, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is being held in 5,000+ centres across 550+ cities, including some overseas locations.
Strict Guidelines for Candidates:
Students were instructed to arrive at the exam centres between 11 AM and 1:30 PM, with the test scheduled from 2 PM to 5 PM. To prevent malpractices, biometric attendance, CCTV surveillance, and signal jammers have been deployed at all centres.
Candidates had to follow a strict dress code, banning items such as shoes, long sleeves, jewellery, and heavy clothing. Additionally, they were prohibited from carrying electronic devices, wallets, handbags, food items, and any communication-related accessories inside the exam hall.
Enhanced Security Measures:
This year, GPS-tracked question paper delivery and armed police presence at sensitive locations have been introduced to ensure the integrity of the examination. The NTA has also launched a platform for reporting suspicious activities, aiming to curb fraudulent practices.
As students take on this crucial test that determines admission to top medical colleges, authorities remain vigilant to ensure a fair and smooth examination process.
