Nayagarh: Panic struck the staffers of a petrol pump in Singapada under Khandapada police limits of Nayagarh district after some miscreants hurled petrol bombs at the filling station here.
According to sources, the incident occurred late last night when the miscreants arrived at the spot minutes after a commotion sparked here. Later, the anti-socials pelted petrol bombs following which one fuel dispense machine at the filling station caught fire.
On being informed, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and doused the flames. A police team along with Khandapada Station IIC Biswajit Routray also reached the spot and initiated a probe into the incident.
