Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appealed to the youths of Odisha to embark on business ventures and industry to create global brands.
Attending this year’s edition of ‘Brands of Odisha: Pride of India’ on Friday, Patnaik thanked Sambad Group Chairman Soumya Ranjan Patnaik for his tireless endeavour to promote the Brands of the State.
He said branding and promotion are essential components of business and industry and added that the ultimate goal is to bring prosperity to the people of the state. The Chief Minister said the money will flow in once the brand is built.
Chief Minister gave the example of the Oyo story of Ritesh Agarwal, a young man of Odisha by saying that any branding that is addressed to people’s needs will definitely succeed.
Patnaik said his government is working to improve the business climate of Odisha and added that industry-friendly policies have helped the state to become the most attractive investment destinations in the country.
He said the state has received an investment of over Rs 1.25 lakh cr since February 2020 despite the wrath of ongoing coronavirus adding that the Start-Up policy is also one of the best in the country.
The Chief Minister congratulated the Brands of Odisha who were receiving awards on Friday. He said they are the flag bearers Odisha in the business arena.
