A woman died after falling from the fourth floor of a building in Paradip’s Tarinigada area late Sunday night. Police continue investigating whether the fall was accidental or a suicide.
Investigators discovered her body lying face down without clothes. Her dress hung midway from a pipeline, while her belongings, including slippers, a mosquito coil, and a cigarette, were scattered across the roof.
Paradip Adarsh police reached the scene, seized the body, and sent it for post-mortem. Nine young men were staying as tenants on the upper floor of the building. The house owner confirmed the woman was not a resident, raising questions about her presence there.
Police seized CCTV footage and a hard disk from the site. Officers detained seven tenants for interrogation. Authorities aim to uncover the circumstances behind the woman’s death and determine if others were involved.
The mysterious death in Paradip has drawn public attention, with investigators working to establish the woman’s identity and the events leading to her fall.
