The Mumbai Indians delivered a dominant performance to secure a resounding 47-run victory against the Gujarat Giants in the Eliminator match at Brabourne Stadium.

This electrifying encounter saw the Mumbai Indians advancing to their second TATA WPL Finals.

Mumbai Indians posted a formidable total of 213/4 in their 20 overs, with standout contributions from Nat Sciver-Brunt (77 off 41) and Hayley Matthews (77 off 50). Harmanpreet Kaur added a quickfire 36 off 12, showcasing her firepower at the crease.

In reply, Gujarat Giants could only manage 166/10 in 19.2 overs. Despite valiant efforts from Dani Gibson (34 off 24) and Phoebe Litchfield (31 off 20), the Giants struggled to chase down the daunting target.

Hayley Matthews was instrumental with the ball, claiming 3 wickets for 31 runs, while Amelia Kerr and Natalie Sciver-Brunt chipped in with crucial wickets.

The match witnessed several magic moments, including exceptional catches, powerful sixes, and impressive runouts, keeping the fans on the edge of their seats.

Mumbai Indians, owned by Indiawin Sports, aim to become the first team to win two WPL titles, having previously triumphed in the inaugural 2023 season with standout performances from players like Hayley Matthews.
