Puri police successfully recovered a minor boy who had been abducted and held captive in a guest house at Narendra Kona.
The boy was reportedly kidnapped by three individuals who brought him to Puri and kept him hidden in the facility.
Acting on confidential intelligence, police raided the guest house and rescued the minor. The abductors, however, managed to escape upon spotting the police team. Senior officials, including Puri SP Prateek Singh, were actively involved in the operation.
The vehicle used in the abduction was later traced and seized from the Jagannath Ballav parking area. Authorities have launched a manhunt to apprehend the fleeing suspects.
The incident has raised concerns about child safety and the misuse of private accommodations for criminal activities. Police have assured that further investigation is underway and strict action will be taken against those involved.
