In a deeply disturbing incident from Odisha’s Bargarh district, a minor girl was found severely burnt under mysterious circumstances.
The victim, currently in critical condition, has been shifted to VIMSAR, Burla via ambulance for emergency treatment. A dedicated team of doctors is attending to her care.
Taking swift action, the police have formed a special investigation team (SIT) comprising three Inspectors-in-Charge (IICs) to probe the matter. The team will visit Phiringimal village, where the incident reportedly occurred, to gather evidence and interview locals.
Bolangir SP Abhilash G, who is currently overseeing Bargarh district responsibilities, confirmed the formation of the SIT and assured that all angles of the case will be thoroughly investigated.
Authorities are treating the case with utmost seriousness, and further updates are awaited as the investigation unfolds.
