Jagatpur: The body of a minor boy was recovered near a pond in Purbakachha village in Jagatpur area of Cuttack district. The deceased was a 5th-class student in the same village.
As per sources, the boy had gone missing last night. Today, he was found dead with a slit throat near the village pond. It is suspected that the boy has been murdered by someone.
On receiving information, the police reached the spot and seized the body for post-mortem. An investigation has been launched into the matter.
