Actor Meera Vasudevan has confirmed that she has ended her marriage with cinematographer Vipin Puthiyankam. The Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi film actor announced on Instagram that she has been single since August 2025. This is her third marriage to come to an end. Vipin has not commented publicly yet.
Meera Vasudevan Announces Her Single Status
Meera shared a smiling selfie on Instagram, dressed in a maroon saree. She turned off the comments on the post and wrote that she is currently in a peaceful and focused phase of her life.
Her note read:
“I, Actress Meera Vasudevan, aka @officialmeeravasudevan, officially declare that I am now single since Aug 2025. I am at a most wonderful and peaceful phase of my life. #focused #blessed #gratitude.”
The announcement surprised many fans, as neither Meera nor Vipin had spoken earlier about challenges in their marriage.
A Look at Meera and Vipin’s Relationship
Meera and Vipin married on May 24, 2024, in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore. It is still unclear whether the couple has legally divorced or is currently separated. Vipin has not issued a statement at the time of writing.
Meera Vasudevan’s Previous Marriages
Meera married Vishal Agarwal in 2005. He is the son of cinematographer Ashok Kumar. The couple separated in 2010.
In 2012, she married Malayalam actor John Kokken, and the two parted ways in 2016.
With the end of her relationship with Vipin, this marks Meera’s third separation.
Meera Vasudevan’s Career Highlights
Meera began her acting journey with television, appearing in Tamil and Hindi shows including Kaveri, Devi, and Subah Savere. She intended to debut in Hindi cinema with Rules: Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula, but her first release became the Telugu film Golmaal in 2003.
She later gained wide recognition with the acclaimed 2005 Malayalam film Thanmathra, directed by Blessy and starring Mohanlal. Her performance earned critical praise and established her in the Malayalam industry.
