Bhubaneswar: In a step towards digitisation of health services, the medical history of the patients will be stored in ABHA card under the National Health Authorities of India (NHAI). This will be possible as the Odisha government will implement the National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) in the state, said H&FW Minister.
According to reports, under the National Digital Health Mission a card called the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) card will be created. People can register online for the ABHA cards. Once the cards are generated, simply by scanning the Quick Response (QR) codes the medical history of the patients can be known.
This will help the patients from carrying multiple prescriptions and check-up reports. Odisha government is planning to initiate the process of distribution of cards before February informed the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Mukesh Mahaling.
