Rani Mukerji’s Mardaani 3 crossed the Rs 30 crore mark in India after showing strong growth on its ninth day at the box office.
The film earned Rs 2.75 crore on Saturday, according to trade tracker Sacnilk, marking a 48.65% jump from Day 8 collections of Rs 1.85 crore.
The action thriller recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 20.49% on Saturday. Morning shows opened at 9.26%, which rose to 20.11% in the afternoon, 23.13% in the evening, and peaked at 29.45% during night shows.
With this surge, the film’s total domestic collection reached Rs 30.90 crore, boosted by positive word-of-mouth and weekend footfall. Industry experts expect Mardaani 3 to surpass the lifetime earnings of the original Mardaani (₹35.65 crore), though Mardaani 2 remains the highest-grossing film in the franchise with Rs 47.35 crore.
Directed by Abhiraj Minawala and produced by Yash Raj Films, Mardaani 3 features Rani Mukerji in the lead role alongside Janki Bodiwala and Mallika Prasad. The film continues to draw audiences with its gripping narrative and strong performances.
