Bolangir: A man was killed after an oil tanker ran over him near Old bank chhak in Titlagarh of Bolangir district on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Kailash Sahu (55) of Titidunguripada.
As per reports, Kailas was going to somewhere by his bicycle. At the old bank chhak, the tanker hit and ran over him. As a result, his leg was broken completely. He was rescued and admitted to the hospital in critical condition. There, doctors declared him dead.
Police on receiving the information, reached the scene and seized the tanker. The driver has been arrested. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem.
