New Delhi: Actor Madhuri Dixit Nene’s mother Snehlata Dixit passed away today at the age of 90. Her last rites will reportedly be performed in Mumbai on Saturday.
In a joint statement by Madhuri Dixit and her husband Shriram Nene: “Our beloved Aai (mother), Snehalata, passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her loved ones.”
Last year in June, Madhuri had celebrated her ‘aai (mother)’ Snehlata’s 90th birthday with a series of family photos and a sweet Instagram post.
She also posted a beautiful picture featuring her mother and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Aai! They say a mother is a daughter’s best friend.
