Bengaluru: The much-awaited KGF: Chapter 2 starring Yash in the lead role will hit cinema halls on July 16, 2021.
The two-part fictional mob drama traces the journey of India’s most dreaded criminal, Rocky. After losing his mother at a very early age to poverty and sickness, Rocky develops an insatiable urge for power. And his pursuit for power leads him to gold mines of Kolar, and a turf war ensues.
The sequel also has Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in the cast. While Sanjay is playing the role of Adheera in the film, Raveena will be seen as the Indian Prime Minister.
Srinidhi Shetty is the heroine of the film. Prakash Raj is also playing an important role in the sequel.
KGF, produced by Hombale Films, was the first Kannada film to rake in Rs 200 crore at the box-office. KGF: Chapter 2 will be released in Kannada with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi.
