Kottayam: A family of five, including three children, were found dead at a rented accommodation near Pala in Kottayam district on Tuesday.
Primary investigation revealed that Jayson Thomas (44), from Akalakunnam, died by suicide after killing his wife and three children.
The family lived in a rented house in Poovarani area in Kottayam. Police said that Jayson killed his wife Mareena Benny (29), and his three children, aged four, two, and a seven-month-old baby.
Jayson, who worked as a driver, had asked his elder brother to come to his house on Tuesday morning and when the brother entered the house, he found all the family members dead in the house.
Further investigation in the matter is underway.
