New Delhi: A national-level kabaddi player has accused her coach of sexually assaulting her and blackmailing her to leak her intimate photos.
The accused is a coach at an academy in the Mundka area of Delhi.
According to the complaint, the coach had been raping the female athlete since 2015 and had taken money from her.
She alleged that in 2018, the accused forced her to give him a part of prize money. She transferred Rs 43.5 lakh to the bank account of the coach.
The player said that she got married in 2021 and the coach has been blackmailing her and has threatened to leak her private photos.
A case has been registered at the Baba Haridas Police Station in Dwarka. Further investigation into the incident is underway, said sources.
