In a significant development for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand, Union Minister and senior tribal leader Jual Oram has been appointed as the Election Officer for the upcoming state president election.
Oram will oversee the entire electoral process, including the selection of the state president and national council members, ensuring adherence to the party’s organisational guidelines.
The announcement was made through an official letter issued from the BJP’s national headquarters in New Delhi on January 10.
This move underscores the party’s emphasis on transparent and structured internal elections, particularly in a key state like Jharkhand, where tribal representation plays a crucial role in politics.
