MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi inaugurated the MSME, KVIC, COIR and NSSH Pavilions at IITF 2025 in New Delhi.
He also opened the NSSH Pavilion in Hall No. 5 at the 44th India International Trade Fair in New Delhi.
Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje joined the event. KVIC Chairman Manoj Kumar also attended. Senior officials from MSME, NSIC and the Coir Board were present.
Manjhi and Karandlaje toured the stalls. They watched live demonstrations of traditional manufacturing. They encouraged participants and exhibitors. They stressed the role of MSMEs in inclusive growth. They linked MSMEs to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The MSME Pavilion carried the theme “Vibrant MSMEs, Viksit Bharat.” It featured 292 stalls from micro and small enterprises. Vishwakarmas from 29 States and Union Territories participated.
Women entrepreneurs ran 67% of the stalls. SC/ST entrepreneurs managed 34%. Fifteen stalls belonged to entrepreneurs with disabilities. Forty-three stalls displayed GI products. Fifteen stalls showcased ODOP items. Ninety-eight per cent of exhibitors joined for the first time.
The Coir Board Pavilion hosted 31 exhibitors. They displayed handicrafts, toys, ornaments, mats, carpets and coir geo-textiles. They promoted eco-friendly products. The pavilion created B2B and B2C opportunities. It supported growth and self-reliance in the coir sector.
The Khadi India Pavilion carried the theme “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.” It showcased products from 150 exhibitors. Khadi institutions, PMEGP units and SFURTI clusters participated. Exhibitors displayed silk sarees, muslin, Madhubani art, Phulkari, Kalamkari, herbal cosmetics and woollen products.
The NSSH Pavilion featured 35 stalls. SC-ST entrepreneurs from 10 States participated. They displayed footwear, sports goods, handicrafts, bamboo products, food items, machine components and leather goods.
The fair highlighted India’s entrepreneurial diversity. It reinforced the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
