Bhubaneswar: Jharsuguda Municipality Executive Officer Rama Chandra Pradhan was on Tuesday placed under suspension by the State government for dereliction of duty.
The disciplinary proceeding against Pradhan was taken following disobedience of Government orders, poor governance, non-performance, non-attainment of target and dereliction in duty, deliberate attempt not to implement Government orders and low performance in implementation of developmental works.
According to an official order, the headquarters of Pradhan shall be the office of Sambalpur Municipal Commissioner and he shall not leave headquarters without obtaining prior permission of the competent authority during the period of suspension.
Pradhan will be entitled for the payment of subsistence allowance in accordance with Rule-90 of the Odisha Service Code, the order further reads.
