Pune: Rajasthan Royals displayed a complete performance to thrash SunRisers Hyderabad by 61 runs in the 5th game of the IPL 2022 at the Mumbai Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Tuesday.
First, Rajasthan posted 210/6 in 20 overs owing to Sanju Samson’s knock of 55 runs. Devdutt Padikkal also chipped in with a 41-run knock.
Then, Prasidh Krishna and Yuzvendra Chahal were at their dominant best with the ball and SunRisers Hyderabad were left searching for answers.
No Hyderabad top-order batter was able to stay at the crease for a long, and in the end, Rajasthan wrapped up an easy run win.
Aiden Markram and Washington Sundar were the two bright spots with the bat for Hyderabad as the duo played knocks of 57 and 40.
