India’s national football team has slipped one spot to 127th in the latest FIFA men’s rankings, released on April 3, 2025.
The Blue Tigers faced a goalless draw against Bangladesh during their AFC Asian Cup qualifying fixture in March 2025. While the result was a setback for India, it provided Bangladesh an opportunity to rise two positions to 183rd.
The Indian squad, led by coach Manolo Marquez, has struggled for form, managing only one win in its last 13 outings since the beginning of 2024. The team is striving to secure a third consecutive AFC Asian Cup qualification, competing in a group alongside Bangladesh, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, Argentina continues to dominate the global rankings, holding the top spot as defending World Champion, followed by Spain and France rounding off the top three.
