Srinagar: Kashmir’s Gulmarg ski resort has become an internet sensation for opening a new Igloo Cafe on the premises.
The cafe is offering sumptuous spreads ranging from a traditional Kashmiri Khewa, mutton, chicken tikka, or vegetarian course. At the Igloo Cafe, you can sit and dine on tables and benches made of snow. The place opened its door for visitors on January 25 and it will be open till February 28.
With a height of 15 feet and a circumference of 26 feet, the restaurant can seat 16 people on four tables. The tables have been built towards the wall of the igloo, and a master centre-piece has been built in the middle of the cafe – also out of snow. The excitement around the Igloo cafe is permeating to travel enthusiasts who are planning to visit the cafe in the near future.
