The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a three-match ODI series against Australia, set to take place in September 2025.
This series will serve as vital preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, which will be hosted in India later this year.
Scheduled on September 14th, 17th, and 20th, the matches will be held at the iconic M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This highly anticipated series comes after India’s tour of Australia in December 2024, where the hosts secured a convincing 3-0 victory.
Additionally, Australia’s Men’s ‘A’ team will also visit India in September-October for a multi-format series, while South Africa’s Men’s ‘A’ team is set to tour India in October-November for a similar set of matches.
