Ahead of the upcoming T20 match at Barabati Stadium, the Cuttack police have reviewed preparations for offline ticket sales.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) announced that strict measures will be in place to ensure smooth distribution and prevent black marketing.
According to the DCP:
- Ticket sales will begin at 9 AM on December 5, while fans will be allowed to queue from 6 AM onwards.
- No one will be permitted to stand in line the previous night to avoid crowding and disorder.
- Iron barricades will be set up around counters to regulate queues.
- Entry and exit gates will remain separate, with access provided from the Cricket Academy side.
- Police personnel in plain clothes will monitor activities to check black marketing.
- The entire ticket sale process will be under CCTV surveillance.
The DCP emphasised that these arrangements are designed to maintain order and ensure that genuine fans get access to tickets without facing harassment or exploitation.
