Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are very much likely to experience dense fog in the next 24 hours as rainfall under the influence of the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal has subsided, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted on Sunday.
As the low-pressure-induced rain has subsided at many places across the State, a foggy morning is expected at several locations, the bulletin issued by the weather office said.
The weather office has also issued heavy fog warnings in six districts of Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Koraput.

The rainfall activities due to the low-pressure system is expected to reduce from today, except for southern coastal districts, the IMD predicted, adding that rainfall may persist in several areas of Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, and Rayagada today.
