Illegal sand supply in Sundargarh, five trucks seized

Sundargarh: The police have seized five trucks for illegal sand supply in Sundargarh district on Friday. Acting on a tip-off the joint team of the Sundargarh police and the officials of Mining department conducted a raid at the Lankahuda village under Sadar police limits and seized five sand laden trucks. The truck drivers have been arrested. The police have commenced investigation to ascertain as to how long they have been supplying sand illegally and where they had stored it.
