Abhishek Sharma, the 24-year-old dynamo, claimed the No. 1 spot in T20I batting, becoming the third Indian to achieve this feat after Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav.
Abhishek racked up an impressive 829 rating points, eclipsing Australia’s Travis Head, who held the position for over a year. His performances against England earlier this year have propelled him into the elite zone of international cricket.
Meanwhile, Ravindra Jadeja remains unshakable as the world’s top Test all-rounder. His commanding show in Manchester, where he scored a gritty 107 not out and scalped four crucial wickets, earned him a boost to 422 rating points, significantly ahead of Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz.
Jadeja also climbed to 29th among Test batters and 14th in the bowling charts, reflecting his multifaceted impact. Teammate Washington Sundar impressed with his maiden Test century and a pivotal stand with Jadeja, advancing his own rankings in both batting and all-rounder categories.
England’s Joe Root maintained his top position among Test batters, while Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer made notable jumps in the all-rounder and bowling rankings, respectively.
