Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar has issued a Yellow warning to 14 districts in the state.
The warning has been sounded on Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal and Angul till 8.30 am on Monday.
Besides, thunderstorm and lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal and Angul, said the IMD.
On the other hand, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to be witnesses in one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Koraput, Rayagada, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Angul, Deogarh and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
