The event began with a warm welcome by eminent painter Sri Ramahari Jena, who set an inspiring tone. The ceremonial lamp was lit, accompanied by Anindita Ray’s soulful rendition of Jeevan Patra, a song that echoed Dr. Das’s lifelong dedication to knowledge and creativity.

Dr. Niranjan Tripathi delivered an insightful talk on Dr. Das’s profound impact in both medical and cultural spheres, while Sri Karmadev Moharana shared cherished personal memories, painting a vivid picture of the icon’s warmth and influence.
