Gold and silver prices witnessed another sharp decline today, reversing the gains recorded yesterday.
According to market reports, the price of 24‑carat gold fell by Rs 5,020, bringing the rate for 10 grams down to Rs 1,54,420.
Similarly, 22‑carat gold dropped by Rs 4,600, with the price per 10 grams now at Rs 1,41,550. Silver also saw a steep fall, losing Rs 20,000 per kilogram, and settling at Rs 3,00,000.
This comes just a day after both gold and silver had surged significantly. On Wednesday, 24‑carat gold rose by Rs 6,660 to reach Rs 1,60,530 per 10 grams, while 22‑carat gold climbed by Rs 6,050 to Rs 1,47,150 per 10 grams. Silver prices had also jumped by Rs 20,000 to Rs 3,20,000 per kilogram.
