Berhampur:Â Four scribes in Ganjam have succumbed to deadly coronavirus in as many days. This development has created panic among local journalists in the district.
On Friday Gobind Behera (25) of Kukudakhandi died of coronavirus. Behera was in home isolation for some days. He was admitted to MKCG Covid hospital two days ago. Behera was having respiratory complications. He died while being treated, family sources said. He was working as a reporter for Odisha Express from Kukudakhandi.
Likewise, Chikiti correspondent of Nitidin, Manoj Kumar Sahu died of corona this morning. He was also being treated at MKCG.
Earlier on April 20 senior journalists, Karunakar Sahu (55) of Anupam Bharat and Naresh Behera of Odisha File from Chhatrapur died of coronavirus. They were being treated at Berhampur Medical College and hospital.
