Bhubaneswar: Fraudsters are developing new ways to cheat people. Such an incident was reported when a Facebook friend of a man in Balasore’s Soro fled away with the latter’s motorcycle.
Reportedly, police have arrested the accused, identified as Dushmanta Subudhi from Gandarpur area of Khurda district.
According to available information, Santunu Rout and Dusmanta became friends on Facebook. After few days Dusmanta paid a surprise visit to Soro and stayed for days in Santanu’s house.
The incident took place while the duo was going to hangout when Dusmanta managed to speed away with Santanu’s new motorcycle very cunningly.
Meanwhile, on Sunday one of Santanu’s friends saw his motorcycle in front of a public toilet situated under Mancheswar police station limits and immediately informed Santanu about the same.
Later, police arrested the accused and seized the bike from his possession.
