The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to share suggestions for improving its new digital platform, ECINet.
Moreover, people can download the app and submit feedback through the “Submit a Suggestion” tab between November 27 and December 27, 2025.
The Commission tested the trial version of ECINet during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and the recent bye-elections. As a result, the platform delivered faster voter services, quick access to polling percentage trends, and publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of polls closing — a process that earlier took weeks. Furthermore, the Commission is enhancing the app’s functionality based on learnings from Bihar and feedback from CEOs, DEOs, EROs, observers, and field officials.
Officials confirmed that all suggestions will be reviewed, and updates will follow to make the platform more user-friendly. In addition, the official launch of ECINet is scheduled for January 2026.
Chief Election Commissioner Shri Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr. Vivek Joshi, is leading the initiative. The app’s development began after its announcement on May 4, 2025.
ECINet integrates 40 separate election-related applications and websites into one unified interface. Consequently, it combines services from the Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends (Voter Turnout app), and the Know Your Candidate (KYC) app. Citizens can download ECINet from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
