To bolster Odisha’s road infrastructure and tourism, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has written to Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, requesting improvements on key routes in Puri district.
She emphasised the importance of enhancing roads from Pipili to Astarang, Nimapara to Kakatpur, and the scenic Puri-Konark Marine Drive to ensure smoother transportation and attract more visitors.
Parida also expressed her gratitude for the announcement of the Puri-Konark 4-lane road, which is expected to significantly improve connectivity in the region. With Odisha’s rich heritage sites and natural beauty, upgraded roads could pave the way for increased tourism and economic growth.
